The TSF Story

"I know your deeds, that you are neither hot nor cold, I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth." Revelation 3:15-16

These are the words of Christ to the church of Laodicea as well as the church of today. As we talk to Christians within our community, there seems to be a growing unrest as we look for ways to be challenged and grow in an intimate relationship with Christ. Many are seeking steps to reach the next level in their Christian walk.
This is part of the vision of The Shepherd's Fellowship.

While there is still the desire to bring people to meet Christ for the first time,
there is focus on the discipleship of growing Christians as well. We believe that while creating a safe, loving and inviting family environment while fostering lives that are "on fire" for the Lord, we will naturally reach out to those in our lives who need to see the Bible in action before they may pick one up.

The church we envision is more reflective of the first century church talked about in Acts where it says:

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teachings and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
- Acts 2:42-27
